Human relations commission meets

The Bowling Green Human Relations Commission will meet on Friday at 8 a.m. in the council chamber conference room, 305 N. Main St.

Conservation district welcomes board members

The Wood Soil & Water Conservation District held the 74th annual election and open house in September. Matt Davis and Logan Riker-Chamberlain were reelected to the Wood SWCD Board of Supervisors and Terry Hoover accepted a nomination to the board.

Explore historical newspapers with new library database

Patrons can explore The Ohio Collection from Newspapers.com, now available at the Wood County District Public Library. This collection of digitized historical newspapers includes newspapers from all around the state of Ohio and issues back to the early 1800s all the way through 2021.

Perfect for historical and genealogical research, patrons can search newspapers via keyword, date, city or newspaper title. It also includes the entire run of the Sentinel-Tribune as well at The Wood County Weekly Sentinel and the Perrysburg Journal.
