Not your average social page: Discover vintage social media

Facebook, Twitter and Instagram… oh my! Social media has obviously changed our world, but we sometimes forget that similar types of social interactions have been around for generations. Join the Wood County District Public Library to discover Vintage Social Media on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in Meeting Room A&B at the Bowling Green library.

Local history librarian Marnie Pratt will discuss how newspapers provided communities with a “social media” long before the internet was even an idea.
