A Bowling Green woman died in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night.
At 8:36 p.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a crash at U.S. 6 and Huffman Road involving a 2004 Lexus SUV and a 2016 Kenworth heavy-duty wrecker.
According to a sheriff department press release, the Lexus was northbound on Huffman Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign at Route 6. It struck the side of the Kenworth, which was westbound, then traveled off the south side of the roadway.
The driver of the Lexus, identified as Sally Doren, 80, BG, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by ambulance to Wood County Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Kenworth was not injured.
Assisting on location were Mid Count 120 EMS, Center Township Fire, the Ohio Department of Transportation and Or’s Towing.
The crash is under investigation.
