BOWLING GREEN — Mary Helen (Sarver) Jones, 60 of Bowling Green, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 17, 1963 in Bowling Green to Charles and Dottie (Haas) Sarver. Mary later became a member of the Eastwood High School graduating Class of 1981. She married Thomas Edward Jones II, on June 20, 1992 in Bowling Green, OH. Mary and Thomas have raised 3 children and have celebrated over 31 years of marriage together.
In addition to being a homemaker, Mary worked in municipal utilities for the City of Bowling Green 30 years. She was a member of Dayspring Assembly of God Church in Bowling Green and it was at Dayspring that children remained her passion. She loved animals and was particularly fond of dogs. However, Mary’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Thomas, Mary is survived by her children: Jocelyn (Jonathan) Moriconi, Wesley Jones, and Elisha Jones. Grandchildren: Jase and Oakley. Mother, Dottie Sarver of Luckey. Brothers: Sam (Pat) Sarver of Pemberville, Dan (Cheryl) Sarver, Tim Sarver, Andy Sarver, all of Luckey, sister, Sara (Herman) Wensink of Custar, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Sarver and sister, Joy Buck.
