PERRYSBURG — Gathering Volumes will host its annual Author Fair on Sunday (Sept. 10 if weather does not cooperate).
More than 20 area authors will attend to celebrate what we love most: books. From children’s picture books to horror, science fiction/fantasy to regional nonfiction, and everything in between, there is something for every reader.
Once again, University of Toledo Press will be joining the event.
Food will be available, with proceeds going toward funding the 3rd annual Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival, along with craft beer samples from the Glass City Mashers, a lemonade truck (The Rolling Lemon), and donuts (Detroit Mini Donut).
Northwest Ohio has always had a thriving arts scene, including authors and poets across the spectrum of skill and style. The Author Fair (which is one of the only larger-scale book events in the area) is our way of supporting local authors and getting great literature into the hands of local readers.
Of Rust and Glass, a Midwest publisher based out of Maumee, is Gathering Volumes’ co-sponsor.
