An unidentified Bowling Green Middle School student has reportedly been suspended for fighting.

On Friday shortly after 5:30 p.m., a woman stopped at the Bowling Green Police Division to report an incident that occurred at Bowling Green Middle School. She reported an assault that had occurred earlier that day.

The woman showed officers a video recorded on a cell phone that showed two girls on the ground grappling with hair being pulled, according to the BGPD incident report.

The alleged victim told police she exited a classroom when another girl told her to drop her stuff and fight.

The uncharged suspect allegedly grabbed the alleged victim’s hair and hit her with the palm of her hand, according to the report.

The woman told police that she had spoke with the school and the uncharged suspect had been suspended, according to the report.

The school resource officer was advised of the incident and she reportedly was conducting a follow-up at the school today.
