PERRYSBURG — Wednesday at Woodlands continues at noon with RuKus.

The lunchtime concerts take place in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary St. Bring a chair or a packed lunch and sit at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area in both the sun and shade.

RuKus is a rock trio that energizes audiences with their renditions of danceable classic and modern rock cover songs. Their performances feature a searing lead guitar, resounding bass, and potent drums all seamlessly blended with powerful three-part vocal arrangements.

The RuKus lineup is led by Rick Zeithaml on lead guitar, who is known for his strong voice, engaging stage presence and incomparable command of the guitar. He has a history of touring and sharing stages with well-known national acts since his teens. Tom Horak on drums is a veteran of the N.W. Ohio rock scene and delivers the compelling beat of the RuKus sound. His vocal range extends to impressive heights, making him an asset for both lead and background vocal arrangements. Jeff Hagele plays the bass guitar with flowing bass lines that showcase the value of an adept bass player. His vocals round out the band’s signature vocal arrangements. The combined talent of each member fuses together seamlessly into a fun and energizing music experience.

This concert series is made possible with the support of the City of Perrysburg and the Norma (Swaisgood) Stark Memory Garden and Labyrinth Foundation. For more information email [email protected] or text 419-902-2782.
