A peeping Tom was reported Tuesday, but the suspect was not found.

Bowling Green police were called to the 200 block of Palmer Avenue at 11:20 p.m. on a report of a man taking photos of a woman through a bathroom window. The suspect was described as tall, wearing a dark T-shirt and jeans, with curly hair.

A witness told police he followed a male walking away from the home and when the two turned southbound onto South Summit Street, the suspect looked over his shoulder, saw that he was being followed, and took off running, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

A couple out for a walk told officers they saw a man “slink” away from the side of a home in the 200 block of Palmer Avenue. They later saw him again on South Summit Street. He was described as a tall male, wearing long pants with curly hair, according to the report.

An officer stopped a man walking in the 400 block of South Summit Street who matched the description. The woman said she was unsure if it was the person who looked through her window and the man was released.

Shortly after, dispatch advised the subject showed back up at the house and was chased off. Officers patrolled the area and observed a man walking northbound in some yards in the 200 block of Ada Avenue. He complied with orders to stop and was handcuffed. He was tall, with curly hair, wearing a black T-shirt and cargo shorts.

He told officers he was just out for a walk.

A resident of the home confirmed this was the man he had chased off in the second incident, but the woman was unsure if he was the one who took her picture, according to the report.

The man was released.
