PERRYSBURG — The public is invited to the opening reception for “A Brush with Art” on Sunday, Aug. 27 from 2-4 p.m. at Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave.
This exhibit features around 50 original two-dimensional and three-dimensional works by area artists. Works on display include oils, acrylics, watercolors, soft pastels, and 3D creations. Many pieces will be available for sale directly from the artists. Awards for the winning artwork of this juried show will be presented at the opening reception. Many of the show’s artists will also be in attendance and refreshments will be provided. Admission is free and open to the public.
The artistic creations of Toledo Women’s Art League members will continue to be on display through Oct. 25 in the Way Gallery on the lower level of Way and can be seen during the library’s regular hours.
