There is a call for singers for the University Choral Society.
The featured work will be a February performance of the Mozart Requiem with the Toledo Symphony in the Peristyle. They will also have the annual Joyous Sounds holiday program in late November at the First United Methodist Church.
On April 8, the choral willpresent “A Choral Evensong in Observance of the Solar Eclipse” at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
The UCS consists of community members of the greater Bowling Green area as well as Bowling Green State students and faculty.
The ensemble rehearses on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., and interested singers are invited to attend the first rehearsal of the season on Aug. 22, after which they are welcome to audition if they are interested in joining the ensemble. The rehearsal will be held in room 1040 at the College of Musical Arts on the BGSU campus.
