Millbury man indicted for wildlife violations

A Millbury man has been indicted for six alleged wildlife violations dating back two years.

A Wood County grand jury on Wednesday indicted Curtis Asman, 46, for the wildlife violations, all fifth-degree felonies.

According to the indictment, Asman allegedly did buy, sell or offer to sell any part of a wild animal or transported wild animals or their parts.

Each charge allegedly the minimum value of the animals or parts was $1,000.

There is a specification for forfeiture of a 2011 Chrysler 200 LX and a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500, which were allegedly derived from or facilitated the offenses.

The dates of the alleged offence are July 1-2, 2021; Sept. 17, 2021; May 26, 2022; July 10, 2022; Aug. 31, 2022; and Nov. 10, 2022.
