Bliss plays at Perrysburg park on Wednesday

PERRYSBURG — Wednesday at Woodlands continue at noon with the band Bliss.

The lunchtime concerts take place in the Woodlands Park shelter area, 429 E. Boundary St. Bring a chair or a packed lunch and sit at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area in both the sun and shade.

Bliss is an all-female band that has become a treasure in the Toledo area community. The group is distinguished by their striking harmonies and multi-instrumental talents. Bliss is known for creating a wave of positivity that washes over their audiences through their choice of tunes that resonate with people of all ages and walks of life.

What sets Bliss apart is not just their musical talent but also their commitment to nurturing a powerful sense of community. They actively take part in local events, fundraisers and charity concerts, using their music to uplift and support various causes.

Members include vocalist Cindy McFarland, on bass; Brenda Holdridge, playing violin and percussion; vocalist M’lissa Prottengeier playing guitar; and harmonic director and vocalist Lorilee Ash-Green performing on keyboards and guitar.
