Bozeman dared to dream about a tattoo — Wood Haven made it happen

Wood Haven Health Care continues to make a positive impact in the lives of its residents through the Dare-To-Dream program.

On June 21, the program brought a long-held dream to reality for Brenda Bozeman, a resident at Wood Haven Health Care.

For years, Bozeman had wanted a tattoo but never had the opportunity to get one. However, thanks to Wood Haven Health Care’s Dare-To-Dream program, her dream became a reality.

Bozeman chose to get a 3-D butterfly tattoo at Broad Wing Tattoos and Body Piercing in Bowling Green.

“My husband had tattoos, but he passed away. This tattoo I got makes me feel closer to him,” Bozeman said. “It’s just really nice that Wood Haven has a program like Dare-To-Dream to make our dreams come true.”

The Dare-To-Dream program, pioneered by Wood Haven Health Care, aims to enrich the lives of residents by fulfilling their heartfelt dreams. Through the generosity of donations, the program enables Wood Haven Health Care to grant these wishes and create lasting memories for its residents.

Wood Haven Health Care is a distinguished non-profit, 93-bed short-term rehabilitation and long-term health care center, offering exceptional skilled and intermediate level care and services. The facility is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents and continually strives to provide innovative programs that foster joy and fulfillment.

“We believe in the power of dreams, and our Dare-To-Dream program exemplifies our commitment to making our residents’ dreams come true,” said Jeff Orlowski, administrator at Wood Haven Health Care. “We are humbled to be a part of Brenda Bozeman’s special moment and will continue to champion the spirit of dreams in our community.”
