Hospital head: We are overdue for a new school in BG

To the Editor:

I’m writing to support the local efforts to build a new high school facility in Bowling Green. Strong schools are an essential ingredient for a healthy, vibrant community, and when we invest in our school facilities, we invest in the well-being of our community members. The time is long overdue.

Our large employers, including the Wood County Hospital, will also benefit from new school facilities. Our employees are drawn to communities with strong schools, and Bowling Green will flourish as more of our employees choose to live and work locally. New school facilities will make that choice easy.
