Women, are you ready for some football?

Any women out there ready to play some football?

On Tuesday, Amie Loeffler and Stephanie Paris are hosting a women’s football clinic at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Come join the Bowling Green State University football players and coaches as they instruct on what it takes to compete on the gridiron each and every week.

It is promised by the BGSU athletic department to be “a fun-filled event that will have you or your teammates (friends) running drills, learning plays from the coaches, and interacting with our players.”

Amie Loeffler is the wife of BGSU head coach Scot Loeffler and Paris, a former collegiate softball player and coach, is the wife of BGSU Athletic Director Derek van der Merwe. Amie Loeffler promises it will be a “fun little clinic.”

“Come out and enjoy the evening. Come out and see what our Falcons are going through during their practice,” Amie Loeffler said.

“You are going to meet with the coaches, you are going to have the opportunity to run a few drills, if you wish, and we are going to tour the facility.

“As the clinic wraps up, we are going to have some giveaways and some prizes and some refreshments. So come on out and have a great evening with us, our coaches, and our players here at BG football.”

Check-in for the clinic at Doyt Perry Stadium is 5:30 p.m. and the clinic runs from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $50 and registration is at BGSUFalcons.com.

By attending or making an additional donation, you are supporting the nutritional needs of the BGSU student-athletes throughout the year.

It might be noted that BGSU football supplies each player with two meals per day on every training day. Meals are ordered directly from community restaurants and partners so the athletic department can continue support of local businesses and the Bowling Green community.
