Thayer goes to the dogs on Saturday: People-pup event at dealership

Thayer Chevrolet’s annual Dog Days of Summer event is set for Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the dealership, 1225 N. Main St., in the parking lot and showroom.

Dog Days of Summer is centered around dog ownership, adoptions and fun.

People are invited to bring their dogs, meet dog-oriented vendors, and get lots of free pup treats and swag. A splash pad or pool will be available to keep the dogs cool.

Dogs will be available for adoption.

There is also food, including hot dogs, available for their human owners. The event is rain or shine.
