A men’s bathroom at City Park has been vandalized.
On Saturday at approximately 8:15 a.m., the Bowling Green Police Division was advised of a complaint of vandalism at the men`s restroom near the skate park at City Park.
An city employee told the officer that when they arrived to clean the bathrooms, they saw the damage.
The floor was covered in pink soap, which was a result of the soap dispenser being damaged, according to the police report.
A part of the dispenser was left in the sink. The toilet paper rolls appeared to have been stabbed with a sharp object, making holes in the paper, according to the report.
The employee told the officer the bathroom was fine as of 3:30 p.m. Friday.
When the police officer suggested securing the bathrooms overnight, the city employee said that had been tried but caused citizen complaints.
