Two men have been cited for trespass after they allegedly jumped the fence — and into the pool at City Park.

On Sunday around 12:40 a.m., Bowling Green police responded to the 600 block of Fairview Avenue for a report of two men, one without a shirt, who exited a silver vehicle then put ski masks on.

The reporting person said his Ring doorbell camera detected movement and when he looked at the footage, he saw a silver vehicle parked in the middle of the street. He said he could see a female driver and two men, who exited the vehicle and put ski masks on.

He told police they fled the area when he yelled at them, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The officer observed a silver Chevy Malibu in the 500 block of Fairview and initiated a traffic stop near South Maple Street and Morton Avenue.

The vehicle had a female driver and one male in the passenger seat and one in the back seat, according to the report.

The males were identified as Brandon Zornak, who was in the front seat and not wearing a shirt, and Matthew Robinette.

Both men appeared to be wet, according to the report.

The vehicle operator told police the two males put on ski masks, climbed the fence at the city pool and jumped in. She said she was parked on the road because she was waiting for them to return.

The men admitted to climbing the fence at the city pool and trespassing on the property, according to the report.

Robinette, 18, BG, and Zornak, 20, of Genoa but with a local address at Centennial Hall at Bowling Green State University, were cited for criminal trespass.
