Kalifornia Glow & Suites provides a wide range of services, including spray tanning, teeth whitening, ear piercing, kids’ spa parties, massage therapy, skin services and cosmetology.

“Having the bride come in and being able to provide every service for them and their wedding is our goal,” said Kali Hammer, owner of the business.

Hammer grew up in BG and attended Bowling Green State University, earning a degree in event planning and marketing. She is married with three children.

Opening the business has provided flexibility for her.

“I worked for 15 years in non-profit work, opening a side-hustle a year-and-a-half ago in hopes of making that transition,” Hammer said.

“In April 2023, I left the full-time corporate job and turned the side-hustle into a full-time job.”

Hammer saw a need for the services that she provides right here in Bowling Green.

“In BG, my specific services were not provided. I wanted to fill a void in town,” Hammer said. “I created kids’ spa parties for BG. A one-stop-shop in town. Shopping local is always my goal.”

They will also have a line of retail items, including sorority items, this fall.

The open house and ribbon cutting, with the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, is set for on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at 113 and 115 N. Main St.

Kalifornia Glow & Suites is open Monday through Saturday by appointment.
