In Loving Memory of Connie Miller
Connie Miller, a beloved mother, dedicated quilter, and caring teacher, has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the quilting community. She peacefully passed away in her home in Bowling Green Ohio, on June 26, 2023, surrounded by the love of her five children.
Connie’s love for quilting was not only a hobby but a passion that brought her joy and purpose. Many in the community came to know her through her work at the Busy Thimble Quilt Shop, where she shared her expertise, guided aspiring quilters, and fostered a strong sense of creativity. Her infectious enthusiasm was contagious, making her an inspiration to both novice and experienced quilters alike. Connie touched countless lives with her willingness to teach, and through her guidance, she encouraged others to explore their artistic abilities.
As a mother, Connie’s love and dedication knew no bounds. She had an unwavering support for her five children, always putting their needs before her own. Whether it was helping with school projects, cheering on their achievements, or simply being a listening ear, she was their rock. Her children fondly remember the whimsical bedtime stories, adventure-filled outings, and family traditions that created countless cherished memories.
Spending her adult life in Bowling Green Ohio, Connie had a deep connection to her community. She found solace in the tranquil countryside, drawing inspiration from the beauty that surrounded her. Connie’s quilting creations often reflected the rich colors and landscapes of her beloved hometown. Her works of art were not only an expression of her passion but also a gift that she shared with numerous family members and dear friends.
Connie’s legacy will forever live on through her children, who carry her kind heart, love of quilting, and passion for education. She will be remembered not only as a remarkable mother but also as a friend who touched the lives of many. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire creativity, perseverance, and the power of love.
Although we mourn the loss of a truly special woman, we take comfort in knowing that Connie’s warmth, love, and creativity will forever stand as a beacon of light in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Connie, knowing that you are loved and remembered by all whose lives you have touched.
A celebration of life will be held on July 30th, 2023, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. We will gather in Needle Hall at Bowling Green City Park. All are welcome.
