A Findlay woman was taken to jail for alleged possession of a loaded weapon while being under the influence of drugs.

On Saturday at 6:40 p.m., Bowling Green responded to the Meijer parking lot for a report of a woman passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle.

The officer observed a female, later identified as Heather Risser, 45, sitting with her head tilted backwards and holding a cell phone, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The officer opened the door and attempted to wake Risser but got no response. A pulse was not found at her neck but was found on her wrist.

Narcan was administered but the pulse remained on the slow side.

Risser woke up at around 6:46 p.m., according to the report.

Two small baggies were confiscated from her wallet. A search of her vehicle uncovered a paper plate with white powder residue, 10 hypodermic needles and a contact case with liquid and cotton swab, according to the report.

A loaded 9 mm firearm was found in the pocket of the driver’s door.

Risser was transported to the hospital by Bowling Green EMS.

After being medically cleared, she was taken to jail and charged with physical control of a vehicle while under the influence, improper handling of a firearm and expired operator’s license.
