3 cited for discharging fireworks in BG

Three Bowling Green men were cited over the weekend for discharging fireworks inside city limits.

Bowling Green police responded Friday at 10:20 p.m. to the 400 block of South Church Street where they observed multiple fireworks being discharged from the roof of a house and striking a neighboring house.

The Bowling Green Fire Division was called due to smoke coming from the roof of the house.

The party was shut down and all individuals were told to leave.

Ethan Fisher, 21, Andrew DeWitt, 20, and Joshua Swagler, 20, were cited for discharging fireworks in city limits and nuisance party.
