2 men indicted for allegedly raping children

Two men have been indicted for allegedly raping children under the age of 10.

A Wood County grand jury on Wednesday indicted Travis James Noon, 25, Bowling Green, for two counts of rape, both first-degree felonies.

He is in jail with a $100,000 bond.

From June 12-15 and again June 15-19 in Bowling Green, he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with the same female who was under the age of 10.

Brandon Michael Thorpe, 35, Maumee, was indicted for three counts of rape, all first-degree felonies.

He is accused of engaging in sexual conduct three times with the same person who was under the age of 10.

The alleged incidents occurred Sept. 1-Dec. 31, 2020, Jan. 1-March 31, 2021 and April 1-June 30, 2021.
