PERRYSBURG – Visit Perrysburg Market Days in downtown is held every Thursday from 4-8 p.m. through Sept. 21 and this week it’s going bigger and better.
The Ohio Magazine awarded Perrysburg the 2022-23 Best Hometown designation, and there will be an awards reception Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Then the 55-piece Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra takes the stage for Lettuce Turnip the Best, patriotic pops edition.
The community is invited to attend the reception where the official award will be presented on the Commodore Schoolyard Lawn. Light refreshments will be served, and then the patriotic pops concert begins at 7 p.m.
There will be a patriotic-themed market Thursday. Visitors can help select the Most Patriotic Market Merchant. There will be table-top signage and a QR portal for public voting purposes that could help the winning merchant earn a free booth space in the 2024 market.
