One dead in single-vehicle crash on Pemberville Road

PEMBERVILLE — A Wickard woman was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on Pemberville Road near Ohio 582 in Troy Township.

At 1:24 p.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, involving a 2012 Toyota Sienna with a single female operator.

The investigation showed that the Toyota was traveling northbound on Pemberville Road in Troy Township and crossed the center line. The Toyota then entered a ditch where it continued traveling until it struck a concert culvert head on.

Megan A. Connin was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Troy Twp. Fire Department and EMS, Pemberville Fire Department and Frank’s Towing assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
