GRAND RAPIDS — The Grand Rapids Historical Society’s Rhythm on the River Music Series returns on June 25 at 4 p.m. with Hepcat Revival.

The concerts will be held in the Wright Pavilion located on the towpath between the canal and the Maumee River at the end of Lincoln Street.

Hepcat Revival is a seven-piece band established in 1998 and known for their high-energy jump blues, jazz, swing and other cool musical genres. For 25 years, Hepcat Revival has been showing people a good time all over the Midwest. This is their first appearance at Rhythm on the River. Featured musicians are Vince Krolak on trumpet, Stan George on saxophone, Pete Ford on piano, Greg Tye on vocals, Ken Zuercher on guitar and Lucky Lemont on bass.

The concert is free, so bring lawn chairs or blankets and join in this beautiful setting alongside the Maumee River and enjoy toe-tapping, finger-poppin’ music. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved farther west on Front Street to the old fire station.
