BG woman arrested for domestic violence

A Bowling Green woman has been arrested for domestic violence.

On Monday at 12:21 a.m., Bowling Green police were called to the 1500 block of East Clough Street for a domestic violence report.

The alleged victim had cuts above and below his left eye and his eye was swollen. He told officers Aylisia Gordon had punched him.

Gordon said the man kept opening the shower curtain and the last time he opened it, he lunged at her and she punched him in the face, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Gordon, 31, was arrested for domestic violence. Once she was placed in the police cruiser, she began kicking the door and divider, according to the report.

She was taken to jail, where it was noted she was bleeding from the forehead.

She was transported to Wood County Hospital.

The report indicated the backseat of the cruiser had blood on the door, window, divider and door. There also was spit on the divider and the floor, according to the police report.

Gordon was released later Monday on an own recognizance bond, on the condition she stay 100 feet away from the alleged victim.
