PERRYSBURG — The Laurie Morvan Band, will stop in Perrysburg while on a national tour to perform a free concert for the Wednesday at Woodlands Concert Series.

The free concert will take place on Wednesday at noon, marking the start of the Wednesday lunchtime concert series that will run through Sept. 6.

The concert will take place in the shelter area of Woodlands Park, 429 E. Boundary St.

Morvan Is a guitarist, singer and songwriter. The band’s recordings have won numerous music industry awards as well as making it the second round of the Grammy nominations for their album “Gravity.” Known for her jaw-dropping skills on the guitar, Morvan has been compared to legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Bring a chair or enjoy lunch at one of the many picnic tables in and around the shelter area.
