PERRYSBURG – The Best of the Burg Quest — a year-long scavenger hunt of sorts — has started in the city.
It is geared to engage visitors on their smartphones while exploring fun and things to do and see throughout the city, all while earning points at each location to be converted into Visit Perrysburg merchandise.
Or, take the points and trade them for an entry into the grand prize: a $500+ value all-expenses paid weekend in Perrysburg, with shopping, dining, overnight accommodations and goodies from local businesses.)
The quest will include more than 50 locations this first year – from restaurants and shops to parks and landmarks, and even some out-of-the-way locations.
“We’re proud of what makes Perrysburg unique,” said Visit Perrysburg Executive Director Christine Best. “And what better way to encourage folks to tour Perrysburg than to entice them with an e-scavenger hunt. We polled online for the best things to experience in our community, created the list – and subsequently the Quest – and are ready for residents and visitors to play along, especially in the warm weather months when it’s easy to get outside and explore.
Visitors are encouraged to sign up by clicking visitperrysburg.com/bestoftheburg and enter your information. Then, identify a Quest location from the map, and upon arrival, check in to earn points and redeem later. The Quest will continue through May 2024.
