BG man cited for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana

A Bowling Green man faces charges after he was allegedly driving under suspension and had marijuana in his car.

A Bowling Green Police Division officer initiated a traffic stop on Wednesday at 12:45 a.m. for a suspended driver in the 300 block of East Wooster Street.

The officer could smell marijuana coming from the Ford Mustang, according to the police report.

The driver said there was marijuana in the car. He also said he had an unloaded BRG9 Elite 9 mm firearm in the glovebox.

Jamal White, 26, was cited for driving under suspension and possession of marijuana.
