Beckett’s Burger Bar and SamB’s will hold a “Give a Fork” day-long benefit, donating 15% of all the day’s sales to BG Boom Festival and Fireworks.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced that the benefit nights will be May 30 at Beckett’s Burger Bar and June 13 at SamB’s Restaurant.
Stop in at any time on either of these days to enjoy the food and beverages they serve. There is no coupon to present, no special code to provide, just eat and drink to show support. Sales include all eat in and dine out.
“George and Amy Strata provide so much outreach in the community and this is just one more way for them to show how much they appreciate this community. They have made it so simple for us. They just want us to get the word out on these fundraisers. We appreciate their support of this event and all our other projects too,” said Mary Hinkelman, executive director of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. “Last year, this event had a fantastic first with the addition of the festival. Everyone truly appreciated that we it was welcoming and inviting for all.”
Beckett’s Burger Bar is located at 163 S. Main St. and their hours on Tuesday are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sam B’s Restaurant is located at 146 N. Main St. and their hours on Tuesday are 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
