Robert Smith, 61, of Bloomdale, passed away at 11:53 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on April 5, 1962, in Findlay to Larry and Susan (Shamp) Smith. He married Vicky (Hutchison) on February 24, 1990, and she survives.
Robert is also survived by his father, Larry Smith; his mother, Susan Dupuis; daughters: Shannon (Drew) Marczak of Cygnet, Shari (Mike) Yantiss of Napoleon, Sue (Mike) Zuhlsdorf of Risingsun and Melissa (Mike Althauser) Smith of North Baltimore; sons: Josh Smith of Bloomdale and Matthew (Sarah McGinnis) Smith of Bloomdale; brother, James (Sandy Weaver) Smith of North Baltimore; sister, Mary Burks of Cygnet; beloved grandchildren: Brian, Lacey, David, Ashley, Brittany, Dakota, Dylan, Brooklyn, Braxton, Alexis and Jaxon; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Robert was employed with Avient in North Baltimore, where he has worked for over 34 years. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, hanging out in his garage, watching football and spending time with his family.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore.
