Robert Carrol Nutter, 91 of Custar, Ohio passed away on Monday May 1, 2023. He was born to Floyd and Agnes (Faws) Nutter of Custar, Ohio. He married Thelma (Wagner) Nutter on June 10,1951 and she survives in their home in Custar, Ohio.
Bob worked as a rural mail carrier as well as being a farmer. When Bob wasn’t tending to the farm he enjoyed working on projects and had a passion for building.
Bob showed great generosity over his lifetime being a 30 gallon blood donor for the Red Cross. Bob was a member of Gideons International Wood County Camp. He found joy in passing out bibles and testaments to area college students, and Wood County Fair attendees as well as helping to place bibles in hotels and hospitals. He attended Milton Center Presbyterian Church in Milton Center, Ohio from his birth until it closed in 2003 and then attended the Stonebridge Presbyterian Church in Perrysburg, Ohio for the remainder of his life.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Thelma (Wagner) Nutter of Custar, Ohio; children Cathy (Dave) Horger of Bowling Green, Ohio; Dave (Laurie) Nutter of Bowling Green, Ohio; Dan Nutter of Weston, Ohio; brother Walter (Kathy) Nutter of Powell, Ohio; sister Charlotte Grove of Kent City, Michigan; grandchildren Carly (James) Fisher of Columbus, Ohio, Eric (Erin) Nutter of Mentor, Ohio and 5 great grandchildren, Franklin Nutter, Zoe Nutter, James Nutter, Bryce Fisher and Perry Fisher.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Agnes (Faws) Nutter and brother Howard Nutter.
Memorial Contributions may be made to The Gideons International Wood County Camp, P.O. Box 802 Bowling Green, Ohio.
A private funeral service will be held with private burial in Milton Township Cemetery in Custar, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted by Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 West Wooster Street.
