ATHENS, Ala. – The Bowling Green State University men’s golf team concluded the 2022-23 season at the Mid-American Conference Championship.
The event, which was hosted by Ohio, was held at the Canebrake Golf Club, a par-72, 7,237-yard course. BGSU finished ninth out of nine teams.
Darin Hudak and Brandon Rattray finished tied for No.18 at +7. Dylan Fitchet came in at No. 31 at +12, Connor Gdovin finished tied for No. 37 at +14. Ethan Irvine finished at 45 at +21.
Bowling Green had a stellar first round, finishing the day tied for first with a 291 behind Fitchet and Rattray both shooting -1 to pace BGSU play. The duo was tied for second after round one.
Fitchet was second in the tournament with two eagles.
