Wary about roundabouts? Training is available

SYLVANIA — The Lucas County Engineer’s Office and Lucas County Safe Communities are hosting a roundabout training event for those that have a hard time navigating them or would like a little practice.

The mock roundabout event will be Sunday at 4900 N. McCord Road in Sylvania from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Drivers will have the opportunity to practice their roundabout skills.

In the Swanton area, there are multiple roundabouts on U.S. 20A near Toledo Express Airport. In the coming years, another roundabout is planned at the intersection of Monclova and Wilkins roads.
