FOSTORIA — ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital is hosting its next edition of Coffee with the Experts, which provides an opportunity for those living with diabetes to speak openly with a diabetic educator and clinical pharmacist.
Carolyn Tienarend, diabetic educator, and Johanna Harris, clinical pharmacist, both of Fostoria Community Hospital, will lead the discussion about:
• Living with diabetes
• Understanding the types of diabetes
• Diabetes management
• Importance of nutrition
• Medication management
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. This event, sponsored by the Fostoria Community Hospital Foundation Diabetic Education fund, is free and open to the public.
It will be held April 19 from 9-10 a.m. at ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital, 501 Van Buren St., Basement Conference Center A.
