Rudolph man indicted for B&E, grand theft

A Rudolph man has been indicted for entering two separate unoccupied structures and removing more than $7,500 without consent.

A Wood County grand jury on April 5 incited Martin M. Rosales Jr., 18, for two counts of breaking and entering, both fifth-degree felonies; petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor; and grand theft, a fourth-degree felony.

On Dec. 13-14, he allegedly entered an unoccupied structure and removed money and personal property valued at more than $7,500.

On Jan. 12, the owner of several pole barns on Rudolph Road reported money missing from a desk. A security camera he later set up pointed at the desk showed a man with his face covered remove $140 in cash. Deputies noted a tattoo on the suspect’s hand that matched several social media posts of Rosales.

Additional indictments were presented, including:

• Lauren Wiard, 31, Sylvania, for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a fifth-degree felony. On Dec. 1 in Perrysburg, she allegedly operated a vehicle without the owner’s consent or kept possession of it for more than 48 hours. The alleged victim was a disabled adult, and the vehicle was equipped for his handicap.

Wiard was indicted a second time for aggravated possession of drugs, a second-degree felony, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. On Nov. 28, as police took possession of a stolen vehicle she was a passenger in, she allegedly was found in possession of five times the bulk amount of methamphetamine and either received or disposed of a 9 mm handgun while knowing it had been obtained through a theft.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

• Brandon Emory Baccus, 23, Perrysburg, for felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and domestic violence and aggravated menacing, both firth-degree misdemeanors. On March 3, officers were called to a family disturbance in Perrysburg. Baccus allegedly struck another man in the face several times, knocking him to the ground and causing cuts to his face and splitting his lip open.

• Allyson Snow, 28, Walbridge, for aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of cocaine, a fourth-degree felony. On Dec. 31, 2021, she allegedly was found in possession of an amount equal to or exceeding the bulk amount of methamphetamine and five or more grams of cocaine.

• Shania Jeanne Gibbs, 23, Toledo, for theft from a person in a protected class, a fourth-degree felony. From May 1-Aug. 26, she allegedly deprived an elderly woman of property or services valued at more than $1,000 but less than $7,500.

• Michael Lee Fench, 39, Toledo, for four counts identity fraud, one a third-degree felony and three fifth-degree felonies; and one count grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. From Nov. 1, 2018, to Nov. 30, 2019, he used the personal identification of four different individuals; the value of loss from one person was more than $7,500 but less than $150,000. He also allegedly deprived Buckeye Broadband of cable and internet services, which had a value of $7,500 or more, during this time.

• Antwione Jerone Goetz Jr., 31, Toledo, for burglary, a second-degree felony. On Feb. 19, he allegedly removed $1,000 in merchandise from Kohl’s without paying.

• David Michael Hill Jr., 39, Findlay, for grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. On July 30, Hill allegedly took possession of a 2016 Corn Pro Trailer, valued at more than $7,500, without consent.

• Tremain Lyndal Scott, 50, Toledo, for trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, both first-degree felonies, and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them/OVI, a first-degree misdemeanor. On Jan. 21, he allegedly prepared for distribution and was found in possession of more than 27 grams of cocaine and was allegedly stopped while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Cederic Lee Dortch, 27, Detroit, for theft, and two counts possessing criminal tools, all fifth-degree felonies, and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony. After a traffic stop on I-75 on Feb. 12, 16 catalytic converters were found in his vehicle along with 18 Sawzall blades, a headlamp, 3 ski masks, a half-ton jack and numerous catalytic parts.

• Trey Camron Radford, 24, of Maumee and currently in jail, for theft, a fifth-degree felony. On March 23, he allegedly deprived Sally’s Beauty of beauty supplies valued at more than $1,000 without consent.

• Brandon Michael White, 32, Harvest, Alabama, for improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. On March 18, 2022, White allegedly was found with amphetamine and transported a loaded 9 mm pistol in such a manner it was accessible to the operator or passenger without leaving the vehicle.

• Jaedyn Joshua Alexander-Keels, 21, Rochester, Michigan, for two counts of counterfeiting, both fourth-degree felonies, and possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. On June 30, he allegedly twice committed fraud with a security that had been counterfeited and used a phone during the felony.

• Charles Joseph Walls, 19, Cincinnati, for trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana, both third-degree felonies. After a traffic stop on I-75 on June 21, a probable cause search of his vehicle was conducted, and more than 200 grams of marijuana was found. He allegedly was preparing the narcotics for distribution.

• Christopher Ray Adkins, 37, Piqua, for possession of marijuana, a fifth-degree felony. On March 13, police reported finding more than 200 grams of marijuana in Adkins’ possession.

• Jaesun J. Bame, 31, Findlay, for trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present, a fourth-degree felony. On Jan. 10, Bame allegedly entered a home in Jerry City uninvited through an unlocked front door. He was asked to leave the residence and refused.

• Co-defendants Shabaa Shakur, 28, and Beasia Pettaway, 24, both of Toledo.

Shakur was indicted for two counts of receiving stolen property, both fifth-degree felonies, and two counts illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program benefits, both fifth-degree felonies.

Pettaway was indicted for receiving stolen property and illegal use of supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits or WIC program benefits, both fifth-degree felonies.

On March 10, they allegedly were found in possession of credit cards that weren’t theirs that they knew were obtained through theft. They also were accused of buying or selling supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits in a manner not authorized by the federal government.
