Elvin Layman, 76, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away March 26, 2023. He was born on December 31, 1946 to the late Ella and Floyd Layman. He married Barb Bentley in 1966 and there were together until she passed away in 2020.
Elvin was a jack of all trades and he especially enjoyed fishing. He worked at Brush Wellman for several years. Elvin also loved working on cars, attending events for his great-grandchildren, going to the casino, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a kind spirit and had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Elvin is survived by his daughter: Diana Long of Bowling Green; grandchildren: Ashley (Joel); Amanda; & Alecia (Joshua); great-grandchildren: Kayden, Hunter, Michael, Riley, Maverick, Sophia, and Grayson; brother: Fred (Sherry) Layman. Elvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife Barb; and great-grandson Keegan.
Contributions in Elvin’s honor may be gifted to American Diabetes Association.
