Eastwood choir students compete at OMEA

Eastwood Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade choir students competed in the 2023 OMEA District 1 Junior High Solo & Ensemble competition held March 25 at Northwood Local Schools.

Students who earned a Superior (I) rating included:

Seventh grade — Teagan Lloyd, alto solo; Sophia Rankin, mezzo-soprano solo; and Grace Rudd, mezzo-soprano solo

Eighth grade — Kiera Howard, mezzo-soprano solo

Students who earned an Excellent (II) rating included:

Seventh grade — Aine Rodden, mezzo-soprano solo

Eighth grade — Morgan Cully, alto solo; and Baileeann Bumpus, mezzo-soprano solo
