Robyn L. Galbraith “Mrs. Galby,” age 65, of Wayne, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 15, 1957, in Tiffin to Joe & Gwen (Koke) Shumway. Robyn married Jeffery Galbraith on August 27, 1983, at the Wayne United Methodist Church.

Surviving Robyn is her loving husband of 39 years, Jeff; mother, Gwen England of Wayne; sons, Jason (Danielle) Allen of Bradner, Juston (Danielle) Galbraith, Jory (Kelly) Galbraith both of Wayne; siblings, Jill Rose of Toledo, Thomas Shumway of Findlay, Betsy (Herb) Nagy, Todd Shumway both of Wayne, Wendy St. Clair of Columbus, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Rick (Barb) Galbraith of Bloomdale, Paul Seem of Wayne; 15 grandchildren, Jasmine, Paige, Alaina, Cashmire, Luke, Tianna, Gavyn, Damon, Miley, Jayla, Dana, Jacoby, Jessa, Justus, Sophia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe (Pat) Shumway; step-father, Larry England; brother, Michael Shumway; and sister-in-law, Cindy Seem.

Robyn was a 1975 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School, and then worked at Autolite in Fostoria, as well as owned and operated Galby’s Pizza Shop in Wayne for many years. However, her most cherished titles were Wife, Mother, Nana, Caregiver, and “Keeper of all Things.” Robyn was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd near Wayne, and among many hobbies, she enjoyed puzzles, gardening, vacationing to the beach and collecting sea shells, hosting an annual Luau, and collecting Nutcracker’s as Christmas was her favorite Holiday. Her greatest love in life though, was spending time with her family, and attending all her grandchildren’s activities.

Friends will be received for a Memorial Visitation from 2-4 6-8 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 11 AM with Pastor Brad Kehn officiating.
