Free and open to the public, the monthly drive-thru community meal and food distribution hosted by First Christian Church of Bowling Green is on Friday from 5-6 p.m. This month’s menu includes a loaded baked potato with cheese, broccoli, bacon, sour cream and butter, applesauce and cookie.
The food bag distribution is offered by the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry and St. Thomas More University Parish.
The toiletries pantry is through First Presbyterian Church.
Volunteers from the food pantry and the Sweet Shop will offer breads and pastries.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will provide event help.
Arrive between 5 and 6 p.m. at the FCC parking lot and remain in the car. Volunteers will take orders, hand deliver the meal(s), and direct participants to the groceries, bread and pastries.
