Joyce Carol Lindemeyer, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 2, 2023. She was born October 29, 1936 in Celina, Ohio to the late Hilas and Lavinia (Weitz) Custer. She married Richard “Dick” Lindemeyer, the love of her life on August 20, 1961 and he preceded her in death January 11, 2014.

Joyce worked as a computer programmer for the City of Bowling Green for nearly 40 years. She was a member of the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene where she was very active and involved. She enjoyed bird watching and attending BGSU Hockey games with her family. Joyce always looked forward to her daily lunch gatherings with her best friends. She was dedicated to her Lord and family. She loved both dearly.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberlee Roessner of Bowling Green, son Greg Lindemeyer of Bowling Green, granddaughters Kailee Roessner-Lawson (Matthew) and Kortnee Roessner, great-grandchildren Gavin, Jordan, Zane and Zoey, sister Sharon Mays, and grand dog Chase.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick, son-in-law Bennett Roessner and sister Carolyn Rectenwald.

Public visitation will be held on Monday March 6, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at The Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene, 1855 Gorrill Rd. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Pastor Joel Nichols will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Joyce’s funeral service will be livestreamed on the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene Facebook page and their website www.bgnaz.org
