This year’s Bowling Green High School DECA members have embraced DECA’s “Get the Edge” theme.
DECA is an association of marketing students that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for college and careers around the globe.
The Bowling Green High School DECA chapter’s junior and senior members had success at the DECA II District competition which took place on Feb. 1 at Bowling Green State University. The BGHS Marketing Education/DECA Program is a satellite program of Penta Career Center.
The BGHS DECA members competed in team decision case studies, individual role-plays, and prepared presentations in start-up business plans, innovation plans, and integrated marketing campaigns.
The BGSU Schmidthorst College of Business hosted the BGHS DECA members along with more than 200 hundred DECA members from local high schools.
