PERRYSBURG — Gathering Volumes welcomes Amanda Flower, author of over 40 novels, including the nationally bestselling “Amish Candy Shop Mystery Series,” “Magical Bookshop Mysteries” and, written under the name Isabella Alan, the “Amish Quilt Shop Mysteries.”
Flower will be at Gathering Volumes in Perrysburg on March 30 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss and sign copies of “In Farm’s Way,” the third mystery in the “Farm to Table Mystery” series.
The series features Shiloh Bellamy who has left her big city job and 401K to return home to Michigan to save Bellamy, her family farm, and who keeps getting tangled up in and then solving murders. In the latest mystery, brew master Wallace is found dead at the annual ice fishing derby and Shiloh must find the murderer to save a friend who is the main suspect, while also saving Bellamy Farm.
Flower started her writing career in elementary school when she read a story she wrote to her sixth grade class and had the class in stitches with her description of being stuck on the top of a Ferris wheel. Her novels have received starred reviews from Library Journal, Publishers Weekly, and Romantic Times, and she has been featured in USA Today, First for Women and Woman’s World. Flower was also a librarian for 15 years. Flower and her husband own a habitat farm and recording studio in northeast Ohio.
