He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, Las Vegas; his daughters Cecilia and Amelia, Las Vegas; his mother Becky, Bowling Green; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Barbara (Stayancho) and Ron Cooley, Marblehead; his brother Jamey, Deltona, Florida; his sisters Shellie Prowant, Woodville, and Amy Prowant-Kretzmar (Thomas), Toledo. Jeremy graduated from Bowling Green High School, he attended BGSU and he then graduated from Owens Community College with his Registered Nursing Degree. He worked his dream job – being a nurse in the E.R. of the hospital on the night shift. Never a dull moment in the Las Vegas ERs!

His goal in life was to help people. He wanted to make them smile, feel good about themselves, and encourage them to be the best they could be. He loved his career. He loved his sports teams; Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers and especially Michigan Wolverines. Through good years and bad ones he was a true diehard fan. He loved throwing darts with his wife and teammates in their league. Foosball was another sport he and Elizabeth played together and went to a lot of tournaments and came home as winners. Jeremy loved playing MERP with his high school buddies one Sunday a month. He loved life!!

Many thanks to all the doctors, nurses, lab technicians and anyone else who took such good care and showed concern while treating Jeremy throughout his hospital stays.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date in Bowling Green, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeremy’s honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation, St. Jude’s Children Hospital or another charity of your choice.
