AKRON, Ohio – The Bowling Green track team finished competition at the Akron Invitational with a second spectacular day on Saturday, winning four events and collecting a multitude of personal records and season-bests.

Freshman Morgan Patterson won the 60 hurdles, while seniors Jemeila Hunter (200), Brianna Richard (triple jump), and Zaresha Neal (shot put) each notched a victory in their event.

In addition to their wins, all four etched their names in the program record book once again, with each recording a time or mark that lands in the top-15.

Darian Braddix, Tianna Mulligan, and Ashley Kisor each recorded a PR in the 400, with Braddix and Alexis Parchman adding a season-best in the 200. Braddix placed third in both events.

DaMya Barker matched her PR in the 60 hurdles, tallying a second-place finish. Also logging a second-place finish was the 4×400 relay team of Jemeila Hunter, Payton Gorman, Ashley Kisor, and Morgan Patterson.

Braddix (57.47), Mulligan (59.18), and Kisor (59.22) all recorded a PR in the 400. Patterson won the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.8. This is the 11th-best time in program history, with only four other racers compiling a faster time.

The Falcons will compete in the GVSU Big Meet, hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. The meet will be held on Feb. 10-11.
