The Better Business Bureau serving Toledo and Lima has named Reghan Winkler to the newly created position of marketing communications director.

Winkler previously served as executive director of the BBB’s Lima division, which services greater Lima and its six-county area. In her new role, Winkler will oversee all marketing, advertising, and communication strategies for the BBB’s entire 24-county footprint, including for its 501(C)(3) Charitable Foundation.

Winkler has a degree in Visual Communications Technology from Bowling Green State University. Her commitment to community ethics made her a 2022 “Young Leader of the Year” award finalist at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala.

“Consumers want to use businesses they can trust,” said Lane Montz, BBB president/CEO. “The BBB’s Business Accreditation process helps the best business stand out as the right choice for consumers but sometimes we could do a better job getting the word out. Greater Lima already knows Reghan as an energetic and fierce champion of business ethics and consumer protection. With this new position, she gets the chance to modernize our brand and increase BBB visibility throughout our entire 24-county service area, through a combination of online and digital marketing as well as traditional media. I am confident she will put her degree from BGSU to good use.”

In 2021, people turned to the BBB over 200 million times for profiles on 6.3 million businesses and charity reports on 25,000 charities, all for free at BBB.org.

This BBB chapter serves 24 counties in Ohio and Michigan: Wood, Allen, Auglaize, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Mercer, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wyandot and Michigan’s Hillsdale, Lenawee and Monroe.

The Better Business Bureau is a 501(C)(6) non-profit business league. Its Foundation for community ethics is a 501(C)(3) non-profit charity. If you would like more information about this topic, contact Lane Montz at 419-576-6000 or [email protected].
