Franklin “Frank” Getz, age 82, passed away on January 26, 2023.
Frank was born in Bowling Green, OH to Frederick and Catherine (Eckel) Getz. Frank married Karin (Drosihn) Getz on July 27, 1963 in Toledo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick & Catherine and his brothers Fred and Bob.
Frank is survived by Karin, his wife of 59 years, children: Heidi (Kevin) Chianta, Monika (Mike) Nuss, Eric (Julie) Getz, grandchildren: Adrienne (Cory) Radebaugh, Morgan Getz, Shelby Getz, Emmet Getz, Zachary Nuss, Xavier Nuss and great-grandchild, Hadley Radebaugh.
Frank was a farmer his entire life. He loved a good conversation over coffee. He had a passion for genealogy and historical events and enjoyed sharing his research with others. He played the guitar and was also a collector of historical artifacts.

Visitation for Frank will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Frank’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
