William “Bill” Bostelman

William “Bill” Bostelman, 49, of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away January 23, 2023. William was born on December 2, 1973 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Donald and Shirley (Turner) Bostelman. He married Angela Donald on November 10, 2006 in Weston, Ohio and she survives.

William was a 1993 graduate of Otsego High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp, where he served three tours of duty in Iraq and Kuwait. William was a member of the Alva N. Sidle American Legion Post 232 in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed coaching his daughter’s softball team. William also enjoyed camping, traveling, watching sports, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. Family and friends were very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones at home in his “Dawg Pound.” His infectious smile and laugh will be greatly missed.

William is survived by his parents; his wife of 16 years Angela; children: Madison and Cheznee Bostelman, Cheyane Donald; sisters: Carrie Hunter, Jenifer Geren, and Betty Bostelman. William was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Virginia Turner, Carl “Jack” Bostelman; uncles Ron and Terry Bostelman and David Bolton.

Visitation for William will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Hanneman Funeral Home, 24084 W. Second Street, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of his Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
