The Bowling Green football program has added Indiana transfer Connor Bazelak and Boston College transfer Daelen Menard, according to football coach Scot Loeffler. Both quarterbacks will have two years of eligibility with the Falcons.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Bazelak (Dayton, Ohio) comes to BGSU with 29 career starts over 34 career games between three years at Missouri and one year at Indiana.

He boasts 7,370 career passing yards, 36 career passing touchdowns and a 62.2 completion percentage for his career. Bazelak was named 2020 SEC Co-Freshman of the Year after passing for 2,366 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games, which included going 29-of-34 for 406 yards and four scores in a win over then-No. 17 LSU.

Bazelak spent the 2022 season at Indiana where he threw for 2,312 yards and 13 touchdowns over nine starts. He became the first IU quarterback since Antwaan Randle El in 1998 to pass for at least 300 yards in a Hoosier debut when Bazelak passed for 330 yards against Illinois.

Bazelak is a 2019 graduate of Kettering Archbishop Alter where he earned all-state honors and led them to a 2019 Ohio Division III state championship.

The 5-11, 210-pound Menard (Davie, Fla.) comes to BGSU after four years at Boston College. He played in two career games for the Eagles, both coming in 2021.

A standout quarterback at Chaminade-Madonna, he led his team to consecutive Florida Class 3A state championships as a junior and senior in 2017 and 2018. He finished his career with 5,600 passing yards and 55 passing touchdowns.

Menard was a two-time first-team all-state selection while at Chaminade-Madonna.

Both Bazelak and Menard are currently enrolled at BGSU and will take part in spring football.
